​Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I currently live in Raleigh, NC, with my husband, Bill, our two wonderful daughters, and our nine year old puppy, Charlie.

When not teaching or doing research, I spend most of my spare time hanging out with my family, reading, cooking, walking/running/hiking/playing tennis, and cheering on one of my many favorite sports teams.
